Location and Access

Lake Valencia is located in the center of Maumelle, Arkansas. It is a 2.7-acre lake that has many different features all around the area for residents to enjoy.

The lake area features a fountain, gazebo, docks for fishing or sitting out on, and a boardwalk around the lake just under a mile. Community members can enjoy the lake trials and beautiful scenery here.

Fishing Opportunities

Some locals have noted that this is their favorite lake to fish on. Lake Valencia is perfect for bank fishing and fishing off the provided docks. Every year, Lake Valencia and nearby Lake Willastein switch off hosting the fishing derby.

The most popular types of fish you can find in this lake are rainbow trout and catfish.

Hospital, Airport, and Education

Arkansas Surgical Hospital is located just 12 minutes away and is the closest, but other hospitals can be found about 20 minutes away from the lake area.

The closest airport to Lake Valencia is the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport, located just about 25 minutes away.

A variety of schools are available in the area. The school options include public K-12, charter, and Christian schools.

City of Little Rock

Located just 20 minutes south of the lake is the state capital, Little Rock.

In the city, you and the family can take museum tours, explore the outdoors at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and indulge in the Arkansas cuisine that is traditional country style.
